Precon at PASS Summit 2017 – Columnstore Indexes: Practical Solutions & Techniques

,

It is with an incredible joy and gratitude that I am able to share that I will be delivering a full-day precon (workshop) at PASS Summit 2017: Columnstore Indexes – Practical Solutions & Techniques on 31st of October 2017 in Seattle.

What should you expect ? A lot of technical content that will be focused on the practical aspects of the Columnstore indexes, with content raging from SQL Server 2012 to SQL Server 2017 and Azure SQL Database.

With a lot of exclusive and never-presented or blogged before content, I am already working on some demos I want to show for the attendees.

For me, this is nothing less than a dream come true. As a technical specialist and as someone who does a lot of presentations, I have been always considering the highest point of my career is to present a precon at PASS Summit. PASS is an organisation which focuses on the technical and on the presentational part of what is being delivered and I am in heaven for being picked up for delivering a precon. Being the first ever portuguese speaker delivering a precon at PASS Summit has some special meaning to me and I guess for some of my local friends as well.

I feel grateful for some incredible SQLSaturday organisers who are still picking my Columnstore sessions and there are no words I can use to describe my gratitude to SQLBits & SQL Konferenz, for giving me chance to start delivering precons – without you giving me a chance, I would never be able to reach this point. I truly bow before those incredible organisers and leaders.

If you are not interested in Columnstore Indexes, than oh my gosh – there are incredible precon presenters on the same day with me: David Klee, Chrissy LeMaire, Brent Ozar, Paul Turley & Chris Webb, between the others. For all the means, please consider every single precon – they are hand-picked and will be very worth your attention!

But if you are running BI, Reporting, Data Warehousing, SSAS DirectQuery & SSAS ROLAP or maybe HTAP (Operational Analytics) workloads with SQL Server, you better attend my precon at PASS Summit, cause there was never a content like the one I will be showing there.

Register now for the Columnstore Indexes – Practical Solutions & Techniques, cause you know … there might be no places left when you decide so … ??
