Monday Morning SQL Break – March 21, 2016

,

Monday, Monday, Monday… let’s start with a wrap-up of last week’s blog and twitter activity.  If you haven’t already, follow me on twitter (@StrateSQL). This is a good chance to catch up on data platform technology and career related information I’ve shared in the last week and activity on this blog.

Most Popular Article Shared

The most popular link shared last week is an article by Rob Post (Author | @robaeprice) on BusinessInsider.  In this article, Rob discusses how Amazon has been designing and building their own hardware, so that it aligns to the specifications needed for cloud business.  This is a big deal and is an indication that the enterprise hardware may be missing the mark when it comes to innovating hardware for the cloud.  Take a read of the article if you have a chance, it’s some good insight.
