Monday Morning SQL Break – July 11, 2016

,

It’s Monday and time for this week’s blog and twitter round-up for last week.  I spent the weekend with family and a bit of tried out Pokemon Go with the kids, so nothing too interesting to share going into this weekend.  That said, if you haven’t already, follow me on twitter (@StrateSQL). This is a good chance to catch up on data platform technology and career related information I’ve shared in the last week and activity on this blog.

Most Popular Article Shared

Last weeks most popular link is an article by Paul Randal (Blog | @paulrandal) on wait types and latch classes.  This is a great new resource that you have to check out.  If you care why SQL Server is waiting for this reason or that, this new resource can help identify those reasons and cut down on the research time into issues.
