For the past 7 years, Bayer White and other Jacksonville .Net leaders have put on great Code Camps for .Net Coders. It’s that time of year again and next weekend (Saturday August 27^th, 2011) is going to be jammed pack with content to get you to the next level or just a refresher on some of those items you may not work on very frequently. Either way, this is a great event containing 25 experienced speakers covering 32 sessions across 7 tracks for (at the current moment) 302 attendees. Business Intelligence is one of the tracks that will be offered for those interested in making the leap into the SMOKING HOT BI career field or those who just want to become more educated on some of the topics in the BI realm. SQL Server Reporting Services is a fundamental part of Microsoft’s Business Intelligence suite of products which as its name suggests provides a centralized robust reporting solution for organizations. Using a familiar development environment (Visual Studio), we can create static and interactive reports that can be delivered to consumers in a variety of ways. Co-presenting with Brian will be Sherri McDonald and during this level 100-200 session, they will cover topics like:

• What is reporting services and what can it be used for?
• New Features included in 2008 R2
• Architectural Overview
• Demonstrations to cover the entire process of developing, deploying and rendering reports using the built in Report Manager and URL Access.

At the end of this session, one should be familiar with using SQL Server Reporting Services and have an overview of the steps required to build and deploy reports in their own environment.
