Failed SSIS Build – DtsRuntimeException

,

Hello!

I was helping a team debug a failed build today. Despite the fact that the build compiled on the devs box – something that’s become almost cliché to hear these days – it would fail using devenv.com via cmdline. Annoyingly, there was no errors outputted. So i cloned the repo and took a look myself –

View the code on Gist.

This is helpful to approximately no one. But based on experience we figured out that the Azure Feature Pack for SSIS needed to be installed on the build agent. Sure enough post install, we had a green build and an ispac to show for out efforts. Hurray!
