I am very proud to officially announce my first ever SQL Server related book, Pro SQL Server Wait Statistics! As the title suggests, it is a book dedicated to one of my favorite SQL Server topics, Wait Statistics.

Inside the book I will go into great detail on how Wait Statistics are generated, how to access them, and measure their impact on your SQL Server installation. Next to that, I will go into great detail how certain Wait Types are generated, complete with examples and scripts, and how you can lower or resolve them.

Work is still being done on the book but it will be available later this year, so stay tuned for more information!
