IIRC, the initial size of the log is stored in the header, and you cannot shrink below this initial size. As mentioned, not sure this is worth it for 15MB,...

You cannot recover passwords. No modern, well designed software allows this. It is a big security hole.

Maintenance plans can work well for trimming older files as well. I like Ola's solution for backups. It works well.
