Not looking to disrupt the game, but I like the game. There are things in some games, from the past, where players deliberately went to injure others. I think the...

Complete non-sequitur here guys, but I'm rather pleased with myself.

I just got my MCSA after taking 70-463 Implementing a Data Warehouse in SQL Server 2012/2014.

    I had set a mental...

    Nadrek (5/16/2016)

I would count this as a very important release - the In-Memory/Hekaton tables can finally have foreign keys (even if they must reference a primary key), which takes them...

  • RE: Software Maturity with Release Management

    Rod,

I think many companies tolerate pain in deploying software. I have no idea why myself, but I'm more baffled as to why Developers and Operational staff don't do better.

    Interview time!

So has anyone had anything along these lines before?

Had a guy tell me one of his most interesting projects was using the telephony API in Windows (94/95...

  • RE: Software Maturity with Release Management

If it fails in production, it wasn't written well, nor was it tested well. You should have a few cases in your test environment, with curated data designed to look...

Personally, I don't like it when a recruiter or agency wants to make all the arrangements without me having a face to face with the employer. I...

I've got a phone interview set up for next week. Any advice? I have never had to do a phone interview. This is just a phone...

  • RE: Preview your Article/Script

I agree. I think there was some issue with the permissions and getting this working, but I'll add this to the list.

  • RE: Dynamic data masking feature

I tried a couple quick items for testing. Pulling from the same table, 1m rows, getting a masked column and the same data unmasked. Certainly I need a slightly better...
