Open the files in Profiler and you can replay them against another server or look through them....

You can setup a trace, but you'd have to capture all T-SQL or stored proc executions on the server and dig through them.

I think this will work and not a big deal since you are all on a single RAID 5 partition.
Might see some perfromance issues if the partitions are separated.

Actually Beta results usually take weeks. I still don't have mine from early Dec, although my mail usually is slow.

Chris makes some great points and I think there should be some recourse when an application doesn't do what it promises.
However I think there is also a question of scale....

Backup restore is the lowest impact option. Detach works as well.
don't mess with DTS, replication,etc.
Be sure you move logins and I'd include msdb in the backup/restore process. search sp_help_revlogin...

It could be having an issue with the secure channel. I've seen auth problems like this, but I can't remember exactly which utility resets this.
