What is a GSS address?

SQL Server just responds to requests. I'd think you'd configure GSS to request traffic to SQL Server, not the other way around.

Not to pick on your English, but if it's Sept 2009, then "it will expire" makes sense. Expired means the event happened in the past. I think that has confused...

Mirroring was 2005.

Replication might have been in 6.0 since the 6.0->6.5 upgrade was like 6 months.

And don't mess with the recovery model unless you know what you are doing. Certainly don't truncate it if...

It's never a good idea to back up to mapped drives across a network. A backup is NOT like a file copy. It does not retry, and has low tolerances...
