This is a production database of a sharepoint work collabration site.
It's setup as full recovery mode. and we do have transaciton backup every 3 hours. Transaction log is not...

For collation, if I install SQL server using whatever the default collation is, even the vendor product database is different collation, it will work, correct?

This is a database and query someone else setup before - that uses case sensitive collations. (I don't know why, it's a database for network system managment)....

I also did a profiler, and by filtering out large amounts of connection and other data, I found out there is one person is running ssis package on that machine...
