But if I run in comand line, it still gives the error: sqlcmd is not recognized as an internal...

Thanks, yes, I know I can do a separate download.
But just wonder if install SSMS by default also installs sqlcmd.

I am using maintenance plan to do full and differential backup.

But for this purpose, I am exploring for using it later in production database server.

If you download the SSDT for visual studio 2017, the newest version on page at middle of the page...
