    I launch the failover cluster manager, go to "Cluster Events", but then I see no events there: "No events were found."

    How do I get the cluster log?

    Also, remember 2008 ---> R2 is not the same as say 2005 ---> 2008. R2 is much more 2008 with extras.

    Hence why the versions for SQL2008 are 10.0.nnnn...

    We would script out the settings and then submit them to source control. When a failover occurs, then run the scripts as a step in the DR plan.
