Trying using diffrent ports for the principal and the mirror.

The question would have been better had it not assumed test2 database was already there.

The answer is syntax error why should we assume the database test2 exist when it does not?

My RTO is 48 hours and my RPO is 48 hours.

Currently the application is not fail-over aware,servers are geographically isolated though in the same city.

Check Event viewer and the database monitoring job.
