There's no standard. In fact, I'd probably just leave the extension as is and rename the file as the other poster did.

If it's running faster it makes sense. 😉
But seriously, 16ms is hard to argue with, however it might still be possible to tweak it more. I'd try the suggestions offered...

Just another question, the database server is currently running on Windows Server 2003 Enterprise R2 (x86), with SQL 2008 Standard (x86) with SP1.

Just curious, why would you take a differential immediately after a full? There can be little or no changes between the two.
