Validate that the two systems are the same in every possible way because even small differences could lead to major performance changes. But, I suspect it's probably related to statistics...

Side note, since you're in SQL Server 2012, I strongly suggest you toss Profiler and go with Extended Events. They're much more light weight, there...

Next time, instead of expanding the stuff out, open a query window and look at sys.dm_exec_requests to see what is blocked, blocking, etc., what the wait stats are, that sort...
