  • RE: what will happen if clustered index is dropped.

    The same thing, in reverse.

    The creation of the cluster will force a rebuild of all nonclustered indexes on the table. Any execution plans using that table will be invalidated.

    It's a parse-time error, the error's happening before anything, including the IF executes.

    Referencing a table that doesn't exist is allowed, it's called deferred resolution. Referencing a column that doesn't exist...

    If the recovery model is full, checkpoint is insufficient to mark log space as reusable. A log backup is required. A checkpoint only marks log space as reusable...
