It does not, no more than SQL 2008 SP1 applies to SQL 2005.
SQL 2008 and SQL 2008 R2 are separate versions with separate service patch paths

Weird that it works fine for the other tables in Development DB .. It must be something undocumented ...
Possibly the object id returned by OBJECT_ID happens...

ObjectProperty only works in the context of the current database. It has no parameters to know to look in other databases, just an objectID as the first parameter.

The database is damaged beyond repair and you have no backups. That's pretty much an 'out-of-luck' situation.

Why is the data integrity in database system very important?
Because users tend to get very upset when applications return garbage information.

The filegroup is 300GB but has around 50GB free after I archived some data, I need to release this free space back to the O/S.
