Really? Customers has a foreign key to orders? Think about it, do customers belong to an order or do orders belong to a customer?

RAM stands for Random Access Memory, so when we talk about something in memory, with no qualifiers or specifics, it almost always means RAM.

I've heard of cases where stats get updated hourly.
p.s. Make sure your DBA is updating stats with fullscan at night, not running something like sp_updatestats.

ALTER DATABASE ... ALTER FILE can only be used to grow the file. To make the file smaller, use DBCC ShrinkFile.
p.s. Don't disable autogrow unless you're absolutely certain the file...

Can't be done. Databases cannot be downgraded in version.
Best bet here, keep a backup of the 2000 database from just before the upgrade and if you have to go back...
