    By the way... Identity has never guaranteed no gaps. This is a bit extreme, but there's nothing technically invalid about it.

    Neither of which will show all procedures executed. If your app calls a proc which calls another proc, the RPC will only show the outer.

    Any edition, even Express.

    A witness is only needed with synchronous mirroring if you want auto failover. Async doesn't involve a witness since it can't automatically fail over.

    I would be very, very, very, very careful about any online defrag or smart disk management tool. Diskeeper 10 for example had bugs that caused checkDB to fail (http://www.sqlskills.com/blogs/paul/post/diskeeper-10-intelliwrite-corruption-bug.aspx)

    The cached_time column in that DMV tells you when the procedure was cached, the execution count is the count since that time.

    Thanks Gila, not noticed that it wokred on size just noticed last tiem i restarted SQL server the report was empty

    Default trace doesn't just store schema chances, so entirely...
