If the value of the PK is vital, and gaps cannot be supported, I'd look at implementing one of 2012's new features -- a SEQUENCE.

Check what's holding locks (probably a sch-S) lock on the trigger (sys.dm_tran_locks), see if you can kill whatever that is.
p.s. What was your broken login trigger?

Depends how bad the corruption is, but typically restore model from a clean backup. Books Online has a section that describes restoring the system databases.

Correct, though check the replication settings, whether it replicates the changes or the procedure calls (can do the latter, sometimes more optimal). But should still have shown up in profiler.

If I read this correctly, asyncronous mirroring is only possible with Enterprise Edition. Using Standard Edition you must use syncronous mirroring (with or without a witness).

I dont have always on ( i am on standard version)
It has nothing to do with AlwaysOn. It's just the restart of SQL that causes it.
