    Did you mean timestamp/machine name, or datetime/machine name.? If not the latter, then step one, make it the latter.

    It depends. 😀 (Did you really expect any other answer?)

    If you do your index rebuild in bulk-logged recovery, the log may not need to be that big as rebuilds...

    Makes you wonder... Here, the OP (with 1800+ points) can't pull apart two simple nested cursors with 5 subqueries in that last nest into some reasonable code....
