Its easier that way of course! You can either do 'Save As' to a file, then copy the file to the other server (via disk or whatever), or save it...

The easiest way is to use DTSRun in a job, then have the stored procedure start the job.

With SQL2K you can, take a look at full text index - think you have to have a column that includes the document extension for it to search anything besides...

I think you're confusing the identity function with the identity property used in table creation.

I dont think so. You have to set it at a session level, no way to temporily disable it for all users. So when you set it you'd keep track...
