Im still curious, even with VB to C#, why you chose c#? Doesn't matter to me, merely curious about the factors that influenced you.

You can set in EM by right clicking the error log folder. Profiling that reveals the following:

You could use redirection to either write the output to a file "bcp >output.txt" or to the null device "bcp > nul". Possibly there is a cleaner method.

I believe (but please check) that if you're connecting to a SQL box, you should be able to load the client tools based on the server license.
