Greetings all, first post....
In doing backups with our Cohesity system it reports errors with a few databases which lead me to investigate the cause. Basically these are stopped databases...

I cannot figure out which table to get information for the next scheduled Job.Would it be dbo.sysschedules -active_start_date,active_start_time
OR
dbo.sysjobschedules- next_run_date,next_run_time?
Yes, next_run_date and next_run_time will give you what you are looking...

Update: here is something else that came to light in the environment. Upon shutting down SQL via the configuration tool, the SQL service is sitting in a 'stopping' state.
Further investigation...

You could also give SQL Agent Insight a try. This product can notify you when a job has been modified or created via email, however, in this release it won't...
