    I don't know about powershell punctuation, but tsql punctuation seems to be taking over mine. I keep ending all of my statements in a semi-colon.

    Sometimes tweaking your subscriptions (delete on and re-add it) helps.

    Looking at this I wonder why not just use dbmail instead of the event notification?

    In addition, a logon trigger would suit nicely here.
