If you have to do it via TSQL, look up CONVERT in the BOL. You will have to CONVERT to money and then to VARCHAR.
CONVERT(VARCHAR(20), (CONVERT(MONEY, 13965.00)), 1)

Check out this article, by Chris Kempster, about moving databases....you can use the syntax he provides, just use the MOVE with the log file and not the .mdf.

As for moving the logs, just detach the database, reattach using the WITH MOVE option. Refer to the BOL for more information.

DON'T delete the .mdf and .ldf files. Just rename the extension (i.e. mydb.mdf.old).

By the way.....this '2000.80.194' indicates your SQL Server is version 2000 and is NOT patched. 194 is the Release to Manufacturer build. You should be patched to at least Service...
