I agree with the fact that sp_change_user_login is the right way to it but I'm not happy with the AUTO_FIX option. Update_one seems to be the better way.

I've solved this problem by creating a job which changes the recovery model and makes a full backup every time SQL Agent starts. Just select this option in your schedule.

The sqlmaint.exe should be in the folder C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL\Binn
You might be able to recreate it by running the service pack again, since it's part of SP3.
