Hi guys,
I have several tables ready in SQL server, and now I am trying to build relationships between them. I am trying to do so through the 'database' diagram. I was able to set primary keys and build the relationships, but when I tried to save the diagram, an error kept popping out, saying 'Saving changes is not permitted. The changes you have made require the following tables to be dropped and re-created. You have either made changes to a table that can't be re-created or enabled the option Prevent saving changes that require the table to be re-created.' What should I do??
Thank you so much!

Oh I just found that the server doesn't allow me to make any changes to the tables I created, either. The same error comes out when I tried to change my tables:
'Saving changes is not permitted.....'
What is going on???

BWAAA-HAAAA!!!! The first time I ran into that problem, I almost unbolted it an threw it through a window. I mean really... I've heard of security enhancements but who would actually make such a thing a default with no warning until it was too late?

Change is inevitable... Change for the better is not.

Totally agree!!!! They should at least be more specific in the error message letting users know where to change the 'default' setting, which REALLY should not be set as default.
