    Nice post Kumar.

    The added benefit to using your own local LLM is that eventually the crack-dealers that are most of the current crop of AI companies are starting to collect the payback for giving away their product for free the last two years by upping the rates and reducing the service and just making you pay by the nose. That is only going to get worse.

    Local is the way to go.

    If only those same crack-dealers weren't buying up all the gpus and jacking up those prices for us small guys...

    Thank you, @Grah. I am glad you liked the article. Fair point. Running local models does give you a lot more control over costs and access.
