Web site font colour/background colour and readability

  • Hi everyone

I'm just interested in getting peoples about the readability of many web sites as far as the general words in sentences (not headings).

Maybe it's my imagination, but it seems to me that there seems to be a tendency for there to be a lack of contrast these days between the font colour and background colour.

What do you think?  (Maybe it's my eyesight.)

  • Thanks for posting your issue and hopefully someone will answer soon.

This is an automated bump to increase visibility of your question.

  • It's not just a lack of contrast... most of them are terrible for color, font, usability, etc.  Seems like most have gone "metro" and, to me, "metro" is seriously uninspired on top of the other problems.

RBAR is pronounced "ree-bar" and is a "Modenism" for Row-By-Agonizing-Row.
First step towards the paradigm shift of writing Set Based code:
________Stop thinking about what you want to do to a ROW... think, instead, of what you want to do to a COLUMN.

Change is inevitable... Change for the better is not.
