Use Network Path to Store Maintenance Job - Backup

  Hi,

  I set up maintenance job to back up a database and store it in a network path.

  I cannot see the file in the network path.

  Does SQL server allow network storage for backup maintenance job or I can only store in local drives.

  You can backup to a network URL:

  \\MyServername\MySharename\MyFoldername\MySubfoldername

  The windows login that is running the maintenance plan must have permission to the write to the target folder.
