  • Heh... "Happy Bird Day" Steve!

    --Jeff Moden

RBAR is pronounced "ree-bar" and is a "Modenism" for Row-By-Agonizing-Row.
First step towards the paradigm shift of writing Set Based code:
________Stop thinking about what you want to do to a ROW... think, instead, of what you want to do to a COLUMN.

Change is inevitable... Change for the better is not.

  • Happy Thanksgiving! 🙂

  • When you have an Americo-centric question like this, you should provide an alternative, such as one based on St. Georges Day or similar. (OK, so then you'd need St Andrew's, St David's, and I suppose for Yorkshire, St Geoffrey Boycott).

Whilst clicking on "Post" I realised that I don't even know when Thanksgiving Day is (apart from everyday) so I don't think I can do this one.

A question for Steve: what is the ratio of US-based registrants to non-US-based registrants for SQL Server Central?

You never know: reading my book: "All about your computer" might just tell you something you never knew!

If there only was a site where you could type in a question and it would search the web for you... 😉

That would be a million dollar idea or more like a 382.47 billion dollar idea. Imagine that they included that functionality on any browser without needing to enter the site. :w00t:
