As a side bar, Lutz, CC and I make one hell of a tag team with no sense of "one-up-manship". It would be a joy to work with them on a project in real life. :w00t:
WOW.. this probably is the best honor i had ever had i my life 🙂 I would be very very happy to tag up with you legends and work! Thanks Jeff, you probably made my month 🙂

Regarding the tag team: that would simply be AWESOME!!!!Unfortunately, there's an ocean in between. But who knows... things may change... (I'm not talking about a massive continent movement though 😉 )
Hmmm, yeah , Lutz ; But i and Jeff can meet as we are in the same continent 🙂 I am in the US for an assignment. I am in Seattle, WA right now 🙂 Looking forward for a chance to meet Jeff or WayneS and others who are here 🙂

Thank you very much for the feedback... but Lutz set the stage to avoid RBAR using some very high performance code. All I did was tweek his code. 🙂As a side bar, Lutz, CC and I make one hell of a tag team with no sense of "one-up-manship". It would be a joy to work with them on a project in real life. :w00t:
You know, I see nothing wrong with a little bit of "one-up-manship" - if you think about it, it's kinda how all of us learn the better performing ways. The big thing is that is that there isn't any bragging about it going on.
And, maybe this is what you meant...

So you're not from the U.S. then? Did I miss something?
@ktisat: I'm sorry for hijacking your thread with a rather non-related topic...
But as you may have noticed, SSC is not just a forum like others. It's at least a great community, if not a family. And this may lead to discussions aside...
Again, sorry about it, and at the same time: welcome aboard!!

Yep.. That's what I meant, Wayne. Yes, we many times add to or correct someone else's code but the regulars never make "in-your-face-sucka" comments to each other. As you say, it's all a manner of learning and trading skills and ideas. 🙂

I'm afraid there's little chance of us getting together during your stay in the U.S., Cold Coffee. I live more than 2,300 miles (near Detroit, Mi) to the East of Seattle.
