All,
My employer is beginning to roll out an SQL-based system to our clients, but I don't feel the programmers have really looked at (nor have a good idea of how) to setup the security. I'm interested in any book that could be suggested, which would be helpful to a novice / accidental DBA (me) so that I can make suggestions to the programmers, including points as to why they should look at implementing the suggestions.
I've got some of the basics, but I need more.
And yes, the programmers have their own SQL Server they use for development, and at least are not using the SA account to connect to the SQL.
Thanks,
Jason
