Dear Forum,
I was looking for a source / reference for SSIS Design Patterns and examples.
e.g. some common designs for clone / re-use ..
I Googles "Top 10 SSIS Design Patterns" but I didn't find much this way ..
I did find this info on best practices which looks useful.
https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/sqlcat/2013/09/16/top-10-sql-server-integration-services-best-practices/
Just doing a google on SSIS and switching to the images results gives some clues to common design patterns.
I wondered if people have any reference sites or books they would recommend for SSIS design patterns?
(I also learnt that I can search and choose radio button for returning just articles here in sqlservercentral .. e.g. search for "ssis design pattern" here .. )
cheers, thanks in advance, Allan

You mean like this one?
https://books.google.com/books/about/SQL_Server_Integration_Services_Design_P.html?id=P4YnCgAAQBAJ&printsec=frontcover&source=kp_read_button#v=onepage&q&f=false

Haven't read it, but Andy Leonard knows his stuff about SSIS.
You could ask on Twitter. Maybe send Cathrine Wilhelmsen a question.@cathrinew
She would know - she helped write a book on BIML.

Yep - That looks like a good one .. $59 ... Will have a think about getting this one ..
thanks ... (also discovered I can do a 10 day trial of Safari and read content for free for this 10 days.)
Chapter 11 looks interesting !
Safari looks to have many books on this topic also ..
I also wondered if GITHUB has examples .. I will look there too ..
Thanks !

Thanks for the mention of the SSIS Design Patterns book (I'm one of the coauthors). Our publisher is running a Black Friday special on this and all of their technical e-books for $7 each.
Since you're looking for design patterns, I'll also mention my blog (TimMitchell.net), where I've written a good bit about data warehousing, ETL, and SSIS in particular.
I hope this helps!

I progressed with an SSIS ETL design and was happy with end result.
Some notes as per these:

I am constantly surprised that people build ETL solutions without picking up this book. I purchased it on Kindle, could have been my first Kindle purchase and was given the paper book later.
Getting good framework, patterns, metadata tables , naming conventions etc just helps so much when the project starts to get large all of a sudden.
