I probably won't be on this site much for a while. I've been selected as a Juror for a trial expected to last 4 weeks (I am looking forward to it). So, unless I get a chance to check out the site from home, I'll be back by the end of February. -SQLBill

I went twice last year and never got picked. Not sure if that was good or bad.

Sounds like a future QOD
IF defendant committed [INSERT Crime here] THEN which of following is correct:
1. Defendant pleads innocent and gets probation
2. Defendant confesses and x...
3. Hung jury because SQLBill is playing Tetris using his wireless link ![]()
Good Luck SQLBill

Naw, hung jury because SQLBill is wishing he could see what's going on at SQLServerCentral. I'm back, got down to the final picks and there were about 50 of us left. I wasn't one of the 16 (12 jurists and 4 alternates) picked. Darn. I was actually looking forward to being picked. It would have been a unique experience. -SQLBill

Did you at least get your "wireless" setup out of the deal?

I took my baby to the court to show up for the jury duty and imedietly dismissed
If I'm gonna work for someone for free I might as well be able to take care of my baby too. They are too young to go to school and I'm not paying a babysitter to show up at the court house.

Funny. If he would've gotten picked, I think that SQLBill was on his way to becoming the Cowboy Neal of SQLServerCentral.
Oh admit it. Some of you read /.
