SQL Server not detecting the new clustered disk

    My client has added a new clustered disk with capacity of around 2 TB to have a dedicated storage for my backup files.

    I am able to see the drive in windows explorer but SQL Server is still not able to identify the disk.

    What could be the issue?

    I think I got it.

    The new disk was not added to SQL Server resource in the cluster as a dependency.
