Sql Server 2012 installation

  • First things first, you need a backslash there, not a forward-slash, e.g. Domain\username, not Domain/username

    Secondly, have you actually granted that account permission to log in? It doesn't happen automatically. Log in as sa and see what you have under Logins. Add the account if it's not there already.

  • Looks like domain user do not have permission on workgroup.
