Thanks for that input but I am not a believer in upgrades as fixes.
Running 32 bit Windows
So I am still at my original question.
If you are running 32 bit Windows 2003 R2 Standard Edition, it can only access 4 GB of RAM.
If you need more RAM, you would be better off using 64 bit Windows 2003 R2 Standard Edition with 64 bit SQL Server.
