😀 How could one tells if SAN's is setup on their system?

Look to see if there a an HBA adapter installed and if it is active.

Do I need to look at the server physically to see if there is a Host Bus Adapter setup ?

You should be able to see one in the device manager under Manage. Right-click my computer, Manage (which you can also connect to a remote machine with the right permissions.)
