SP2 with hot fixes

  • When I applied SP2 and hot fixes seemed everything went fine (got no error messages)

But when I do select @@version I dont see any mention of SP2..how can I be sure everything is OK?

    Thanks

  • You should see a 8.00.532 (or something greater with the hot fixes) for the version information that comes out with the select @@version.

I am assuming that this is for SQL 2K (if 7.0 then it would be 7.00.842).

    Hope this helps.

  • Thanks I do see the following message

    Microsoft SQL Server 2000 - 8.00.534 (Intel X86) Nov 19 2001 13:23:50

    Copyright (c) 1988-2000 Microsoft Corporation

Developer Edition on Windows NT 5.0 (Build 2195: )

    Seems like it is OK

    Thanks for the info
