  SQL Server 2000

  In Enterprise Manager when right clicking on a database and selecting properties Enterprise Manager immediately closes without any errors and without displaying the property dialog box.

  Checked Event Viewer but found nothing.

  Any help is greatly appreciated.

  Sounds to me like a buggy installation, I'd try re-installing the client tools and see if that fixes your problem

  Have you got SQL Server 2005 installed on the same machine? I had a similar problem when I had that setup, think it was back in Yukon Beta 2 days.

  Thanks for everyone's response. Ended up uninstalling and reinstalling SQL everything works fine now.
