Logins not showing in SQL EM/ users collection.

    I have a ogin that whenever I try and change via sql EM , i.e to add a role or something it says@

    The name <' login'> was not found in the Users collection.

    you can add it to different roles via t-sql but it never displays/ shows correctly in SQLEM, and it shows as being members via

    sp_helprolemember

    where you can see the login does belong to this group. Any ideas what might be wrong?

    it's one of those days.  I disconencted and reconencted and AOK!
