All,
I am trying the command:
wget -q https://packages.microsoft.com/keys/microsoft.asc | sudo apt-key add -
I get the error "no valid OpenPGP data found"
Can anyone advise what I might be doing wrong?
I also tried wget -q0 with the same result.
Thanks

Hi,
Are you behind a proxy? Are you able to download the key by using the above URL in your browser and then manually importing it with the "apt-key add" command?
Try the suggestions here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/21338721/gpg-no-valid-openpgp-data-found
