insert small floating value in sql server

  I have a table 'table1' which have columns tab1 float(53)

  Now the problem is I have value 1.62726334E-308 and when i insert this value into my table table1 it insert 0.Please give solution how can i insert this value

  That value is outside the range of what can fit in a float.
