One of our databases on a clustered server was stuck in recovery mode last week. There had not been any restoring from backup so the solution was to fail over the server to the other node which sorted the issue.

Thanks for the article, but I don't see anywhere in your process you deleted the transaction log.

Does this also work by Databases that are in the Full Recovery Mode ?
Is there a possibility of Data loss ?
