I have created reports using Visual Studio but I don't know how to get them on the Report Server?

So I changed the TargetURL for the report. Then clicked on Deploy and this error came up
Microsoft SQL Server Report Designer
Could not connect to the report server http://<reportserver>/reports. Verify that the TargetServerURL is valid and that you have the correction permissions to connect to the report server.
I do have administraitive access.

Is Reporting Services running on the server? Also, seems you're deploying to the wrong folder it should be http://yourservername/ReportServer, if you're using the default URLs.

Hi Maria, if you want to deploy a report (.rdl) from Visual Studio, for TargetServerURL, you need to use <a title="http:///reports" href="http://himalayas/reportserver" target="_blank">http://himalayas/reportserver ,
Himalayas being the name of the server the Reporting Server is installed on.
