Finding Trends via Word Count

    I have a table that contains text fields. Would like to bascially conduct a word count so we could see if there is a trend contained within a narrative.  Does anyone know how to do a word count, or at least get me started in the right direction?  Thanks...

    for example:

    fire    23 occurrances

    smoke 106 occurances

    water 56 occruances

    etc....

    wc is a unix utility that will word count. I'd bet you could find something like this for windows and send your field through it and get a result back.
