Fantasy Football 2017

Figures.  All the so-called "expert" opinions tell me I should start Cam Newton this week.  So I start Newton and leave DeShaun Watson on the bench.

Newton lays an egg, and Watson goes off for four TDs.  Yeah, that's what I get for listening to "experts," instead of going with my gut!

Looks like my undefeated season comes down to Monday night!

Okay, Ray, whoop it up.  The target just gets bigger.

    I managed a comeback tonight.

3 way the in our division, I outside both my rivals and end up as the only losing team. Just gotta love football.
Think I'll save my best for week 11 Ray.

I was very definitely sweating out last night's game!  I kept yelling at the TV (and my wife in bed next to me, telling me to shut up! ;)), "Don't give Thomas the ball!"

Like I said, I'm going to enjoy this ride for as long as it lasts!

    Whew! :satisfied:

  • Are my privacy settings incorrect? Did I expose the WRs I started? I think Cousins and Wilson looked at my team and decided not to throw the ball to my receivers.

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • In one of my leagues, I had Aaron Rodgers with DeShaun Watson as a backup. I'm now starting Jacoby Brisset in that league. 🙁

Wow, could be a turning point. Fuller was turning out to be a horse for me too.

And I neglected to move Benjamin outta the starting lineup, gonna blame that one on Summit madness.

I (very reluctantly) dropped Watson and picked up Tyrod Taylor.  Started him last night based on a gut feeling.  Points-wise, he had a good night, but I watched the game, and he didn't look all that impressive.

Most of his points came in garbage time.

  • You can blame me for that. I picked Buffalo in my Surival league because how could they not beat the Jets?

  • Wow.  Picked up Zeke Elliott in a trade.  I was going to stash him for the playoffs.  Wasn't expecting to be able to use him right away!

And of course, the Giants fan in me is cringing at the fact that I have to rely on two Cowboys in my starting lineup! </CognitiveDissonance>

What idiot would have traded him to you?  This will just delay his inevitable suspension into the fantasy playoffs now.  Not like I have to worry about that though...

  • I lost 3 people this week, two to pre-game injuries, Crazy

  • Looks like Steve is finally going to get me, barring a big night from Marvin Jones and the Lions defense going into the tank (which are possible, but I'm not holding my breath for either happening).

Well, it was a fun ride while it lasted!  At least I'll still be in first place, win or lose!

Personally, I'm rooting for Jones to score six touchdowns and the Detroit defense to give up 57 points! 🙂

  • Crazy, and I had alerts in the am yesterday. Crowder out (starting for me), someone else went down, then Ertz in practice. Had to make 3 pickups after yoga, with an hour before gametime. After Taylor's performance I'd really given up, but somehow Dallas manages to get me some points from Hill, and SF and OAK come through.
